About Us

Our mission is to completely convey the charms of Niigata in foreign languages.

The magnificent Sea of Japan, rich countryside, vast forests and mountains, and many rivers including the Agano River and the Shinano River, the longest in Japan. Niigata's appeal is the food, history, and culture nurtured by its rich nature. Our guide-interpreters, who live in Niigata and love Niigata, work diligently to guide you through this fascinating land. We are also available to guide you in areas beyond our prefectural borders. The Niigata Guide-Interpreter Association is here to provide hospitality to you.
